You must try Dodo's restaurant in Scottburgh. It is just around the corner from MICA the hardware store on Scott Street. Small, Mauritian, family owned and run restaurant serving excellent food at extremely good prices. There are only a small number of tables which ensures excellent service and ambience. Alan & Lil

So after the great food the first time around, I took 19 of Round Table Natal South Coast Area's finest back to Dodo for a lunch during a weekend retreat! I am happy to say that once again, the food was great, the service awesome and the price: JUST RIGHT! Thanks to Dodo for a great afternoon and for catering for all of us!

I wanted to write a note to advise residents and travelers, passing through Scotburgh, to do yourselves a favour and stop for lunch /dinner at Dodo's restaurant. I have been there twice now with family, which includes a 2 month old, 7 year old and grandparents. Service is helpful, factual and friendly. The waitress assisted us with the selection of a non-spicy dish for our 7 year old, helped with seating for our 2 month old and pram and the food for the adults was sumptuous. The queen prawns, curry, eisbien are very very nice and we can particularly recommend the home made ice cream, and we tried 80% of flavours available. A great meal and time was had by all!

Small restaurant keen to please with good food. Happy to cater for children. We had lunch on a Sunday when it was supposed to be closed, but they opened to serve us.
